OUR HISTORY
Born in 2017, our goal with our brand is to bring some fresh ideas and designs to the swimwear market. In the past years, we always tried to be inspired by women in general and their beauty, as we will continue to do.
Cleome not only brought a new branding, but came with a bigger environment consciousness. We are doing our best to create our products in the best sustainable way. We intend to continue the search for new and effective ways to be as more sustainable and ethical as possible.
THE MATERIALS
The "conscious", "eco-friendly" and "sustainable" terms are trends now. But we talk about them not because of that but because we truly care about our planet and environment - it's our commitment.
Our main material is Econyl, a 100% regenerative nylon made from pre and post industrial waste such as abandoned ocean and industrial plastic waste, etc. Due to the shocking and alarming waste data, all of us need to change our approach in the way we treat our home and planet. This material is also ultrachlorine resistant, sun oil and cream resistant, UV protective and it brings excellent coverage and comfort. It is made in Italy by one of the best companies in the world.
Other materials and manufacturing processes are very thought out, we make sure every company we work with have the right certificates and really do their best to avoid waste and pollution.
A CLEOME GIRL
Our main aim is to bring some attitude, confidence and comfort to women.
We work with a focus on presenting modern and current designs, but always with comfort, simplicity of use and tanning in mind.
We understand that every body is different, so at Cleome you can buy separate pieces so you can mix and match different sizes and designs.
THE PACKAGING
We use as many recycled materials as possible in our packaging. Our boxes are recycled and can be used to keep your swimwear in storage.
All our packaging elements are designed to be practical and environmentally friendly.
We will continue to research and improve all our packaging, keeping our minds focused on finding the best solution for it.
THE PRODUCTION
We produce our parts without negatively affecting anyone or anything. For us, it is crucial that everyone involved is fairly compensated and respected.
Our production process is 100% local and our team follows it closely.
THE FUTURE
We intend to continue learning and looking for ways to help our planet.
